Removing Overlay on Hero Banner

Hi, I see there already was a request to remove the dark pigmentation/overlay on the hero banner, but there isn’t a clear solution on the thread. Is there a custom code I could add to remove the dark overlay on the banner slider? My background image is already on 100? Screenshot
