Remove Bullet Points from Widgets

Hi I’ve added a Recent Posts widget on my homepage and have centred the text using the CSS Style box. I’m having trouble however in getting rid of the bullet points. I’ve added a list-style:none style and various attempts at adding a widget class but nothing I do seems to work. Could you let me…
