Edit footer on new WordPress (v. 4.4)?

How are we able to update the footer info via the CMS. If we are unable to have access in the GUI of the CMS online, then how do we edit the footer. Please send us a generic example for us to find where the Copyright logo, year, and organziational name would be located too…

How can I change the text (the language of the text) to something other than “Search” in the Search Bar found in the header or in the menu bar?
