Hello,
Recently we switched a client to https but now we get some “502 Bad Gateway” in the console debugger. We’ve done this a bunch of times before without trouble, but here we just can’t get it to work. All references in the database are changed to https, due to scrript and now also manual searching.
It throws the error on [POST] …/wp-admin/wp-ajax.php?_panelsenonce=xxxxxxxx
Maybe this nonce is some kind of cached value we somehow can clear? (Ajax nonces are however by my knowledge no rocket science so why it should fail by none i don’t know?).
Note: I’m not 100% sure it has to do with the switch to https, but that’s my guess since it looks like about that time in the logs. I’m about 99% sure, but i’m too old to beleive in coincidence. ;)
I found this post but no solution or hints.
Any ideas?
Hi Linuzitac,
Can you please clarify what exactly is this error occurring for you? Is this issue occurring on the frontend or when you’re editing pages (or opening a specific widget)?
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
If that doesn’t help, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?
