I am getting a 403 error when I add images to pagebuilder plugin.
I have disabled all other plugins and as soon as I enable just the pagebuilder plugin it works fine until I add a image through the pagebuilder. I am able to load txt etc but get a 403 as soon as I add and update images
I have updated the plugin to 2.4.9 and still get the same problem. I have also updated wordpress. I also tried to roll back wordpress and have the same problem. the same fault came up before I updated the plugin (I installed the pagebuilder plugin manually using add new and downloading directly from the “thinkupthemes” website.
I’m unable to update my website as it is as I use the pagebuilder for adding my posts.
the fault is :
403 Forbidden
Server configuration does not allow access to this page.
Return to home page
I’m using windows 10 but have also tested it on other machines with other software.

I have asked for help from thinkup themes (as It is their theme) but thought it might be wise to ask you as well.

any thoughts please ?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Amclaren,

Based on your description, it sounds like your hosting provider is having issues with you uploading files – I would recommend sending a message to your hosting provider. To clarify, what happens when you navigate to WP AdminMediaAdd New and upload an image? This is purely a test upload so it doesn’t matter what the image is.

    thanks heaps Alex.
you were right I have just dealt with my hosting provider and they have sent this through
“Mod sec was triggered for your website our admins has resolve this for you.”.

frustrating half a day but resolved now.

Really appreciate your help – have a fantastic day / night (wherever you are)

    cheers
