I’m building a website www.stanges.biz using the North theme. When I use my Kindle to view the site the 3 line menu icon does not work with their Silk browser. What’s the fix?

    Hi John

Thanks for reporting. I’ll log a bug report for this now. We’ll investigate and try resolve ASAP. We hope to launch a North update sometime next week. Assuming we can replicate and resolve this bug, I’ll do my best to get the fix in this upcoming release.

Hey John, could you perhaps confirm for us, is it just a menu icon animation issue you’re seeing in Silk or does the mobile menu not open at all? Thanks.

When I tap the menu button the 3 bar icon disappears and an X appears. No menu items show up.

      Hi, I Work Here

      Hi Ray

We’ve handled everything we’ve discussed and are just sorting a few more small enhancements before shipping this update. I’m aiming for tomorrow.

John raised an issue in Amazon Silk’s browser. Have you tested in Kindle?

I think it may have something to do with my settings in the Page Builder layout settings. I have 1024 px as my tablet width and 600 px as my mobile width. I discovered tonight that if I play with the width of my screen on my desktop I can create the same problem in Chrome. There are widths where the 3 bar icon appears and the menu does not work. If I continue shrinking the width the menu will work again.

    Thanks Ray, yup, same issue.

We’ve resolved this problem and will ship the update tomorrow. Thanks for everyone’s help in improving North, we really appreciate it. Fixes and enhancements on their way ASAP.

Andrew, A week ago you said an update to fix my problem would be released. Where do I find it?

    Hi, I Work Here

The latest version of North is 1.2. You can check which version you’re running from AppearanceThemes, hover over North and click Theme Details. If you’re not using 1.2 you can head over to DashboardUpdates where there should be a North update waiting.
