2 problems left with So-Copr theme

Hi, I’m almost done with my design from your Corp theme, but I’m left with 2 troubles :
a) when collapsing to a mobile format, all menus are regrouped under the menu icon, which actually works fine. I just can’t set the color of this menu icon, that I’d like to match with the rest of the site. I guess it’s just some css lines to add, so please send them to me, would be grtaeful !
b) I’m having another color problem in the blog page : when I post an article, the theme engine impose a white background and a link to open the post, but it doesn’t match with my web setup where all my texts are yellow with a dark back ground : again it may be just some cs lines…?

I thank you very much for your promt answer
All the best
Chris

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Chris

    Thanks for reaching out.

    a. The menu icon color is linked to the setting at AppearanceCustomizeNavigationLink Color. Are you looking to set a different menu icon color compared to the desktop menu link color?

    b. To change the standard blog layout article border and background colors, please, see the rules at the bottom of the below link:

    Page: CSS Snippets

If you aren’t using the standard layout then the rules won’t be the same to make this change.

    Hi Andrew,
as a new kid in the pw town, it took me some time to understand how to manage the theme and the pages via the css snippets, but I confirm that it’s been my way to solve my questions.
In my humble opinion, as a recognized marketing manager, I see SO as a natural specialist of your own products (naturally), but many thread are coming from newbies like me, who has barely approached CMS as they are nowadays (although I did produce some sites years ago).
It may be very useful for your users if you could write down a very basic guide of what is it to setup a brand new website with wp and your tools & themes, from questions like : what’s a cms (really) ? what’s a database and how it’s managed by WP ? how your theme integrates within the WP installation ?… a real guide for dummies !
Have in mind that most users who think of themselves as advanced would be very happy too in updating their confidence, while not asking anyone ;-).
You’re doing a great job otherwise, and it didn’t take a penny out of my pocket. Only time, a thing that I have a lot by now.
    Thanks a lot !

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Chris

I’m glad to see you’re making progress. I don’t have any specific site feedback at the moment. Your site is loading nice and quickly on my computer. At some point in the future, you could perhaps introduce https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/ to add a bit of further optimization.

Thanks for your kind feedback and suggestions. I’ll certainly do my best to improve our overview documentation in the near future.

All the best with your site.
