Automatic Updates

It's always a good idea to keep your theme up to date with the latest bug fixes and performance enhancements. When you choose a SiteOrigin theme, you know you'll always have the latest version of our themes with automatic updates. Just look out for the update notification and Origin will handle everything. You don't need to fiddle around with zip files.

You've probably heard that responsive themes are the future. We built a grid engine that creates clean, responsive CSS. The grid engine uses standard HTML5 to create grids that are easy to read and incredibly light on CSS.

We put a lot of emphasis on security with Origin. To start, we built a custom image resizer, which operates entirely within WordPress' own security framework.

Maintenance Mode

Our themes come standard with a maintenance mode plugin. Add your own custom photo, end date and html. Your photo is displayed as a full screen background with a counter and information in the foreground. This is perfect for both under construction sites and scheduled maintenance.
