Make Buttons Flat?

When I use a third party optin form and the buttons should be ‘flat’ they come out looking rounded with shadows. Is there a way I can stop this from happening and keep them flat as they appear when I’m editing them within the plugin’s area on my dashboard? Thanks

I’m attempting to use the Vantage Social Media widget on a WP site using the Vantage theme, and no icons appear no matter where and how the widget is used.
