Xero Accounts Plugin/Integration

Hi there,

I wonder if you have ever been asked for integration into the Xero Accounts online accounting package?

Checkfront offer this via their WordPress theme I believe, please see the links below:

I am looking to purchase the Premium version of Vantage as it looks very good indeed, and I will be using it to build a shop-front for my friends business who uses Xero Accounts for accounts and customer billing. It would be good to know if there was any way of linking one site to another somehow via some integration. It looks like Checkfront have done this already, so I thought I would run this by you.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Vantage only takes care of the WordPress theme functionality. Integration with Xero would come down to the ecommerce or in this case, booking plugin. It looks like Checkfront has a WordPress plugin so the question would now be, how well do Vantage and Checkfront work together. You can give our free version of Vantage a go to check that out.

    So to confirm, the important integration here is between Checkfront (or similar plugin) and Xero. With that setup and assuming Checkfront handles it’s own styling, you could use any WordPress theme.

    Thanks very much for your reply, this makes a lot of sense now that I have read your post and did a bit more research. I have since found reference to a number of WordPress plugins which offer connectivity to Xero so maybe when the time is right I will look into this in more depth to see how feasible it will be to integrate this into my friends website.

    In the meantime I thank you for your informative and timely response to my kind-of-not-relevant question and have gone ahead and purchased Vantage Premium with pleasure.
