Wysiwyg Editor missing for posts and pages

By Leah Short, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 9 years ago.

Hi,
I noticed today that I no longer have the WYSIWYG editor in either posts or pages. I can’t “click” into the field to start typing a post/page either.

When I visit existing posts/pages, I can edit those and can’t see the content even though it shows on the front end.

How can I make the editor show and be able to add new content and edit existing content?

Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Leah

This is unfortunately a WordPress core bug at the moment. You won’t see your cursor but you can click in the Visual editor and then just start typing. If you click over to the Text tab the cursor will display. This bug isn’t theme or plugin related.

    Hope that helps.
