WPML and Pagebuilder

How to get my pages made with Pagebuilder translated properly?
I also have the extra add-on Black Studio TinyMCE Widget installed.
As far as I can see the TinyMCE add-on is acting strange. Something to do with ‘String Translation’ setting in WPML?

This is very important for us. We do like to work much more with Vantage theme and Pagebuiler. Can you join the developers of WPML to solve this issue?
Please let us know, asap.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mariken

The advice outlined here: http://wpml.org/forums/topic/page-builder-plugin-compatibility-with-wpml/ is to “set the post meta of the Page Builder “panels_data” to translate in the “Translation management” page -> “Multilingual Content Setup” tab”

    Hope that helps.

    Dear Andrew,
I have common problem. After installing WPML, Pagebuilder doesn’t work for translated (duplicated) pages. It works for pages created before WPML instalation.
I tried this: “set the post meta of the Page Builder “panels_data” to translate in the “Translation management” page -> “Multilingual Content Setup” tab”.
    It doesn’t solve my problem.
    Can you help?

    Hi,

I’m not sure this is the correct place to post this, but I have the same, or a similar, issue as slawek.

When I create a new page or edit a existing one, the visual editor does not load if I’m using English (the not default language) as the language. However, if I do use Norwegian (default language) it works without any issues.

I’ve noticed that this happens if I choose to have the languages being displayed as domain.tld/lang/page but not if I choose them to display as domain.tld/page?lang=en.

If I’m supposed to post this somewhere else, please let me know. Else I would appreciate if you could look into this and notify me when you’ve found a solution for this.

    Thank you.
    Regards
    Robert

      Hey Robert,

One realy cool guy from my theme support (Magicaltheme) found that the problem we had is that WPML modifies the ajax url from wp-admin/wp-ajax.php to wp-admin/en/wp-ajax.php and this url does not exits, it shows as 301 header status.
Fortunately, WPML developers solved that problem with new beta, available in your “download” section.
I installed it and it works for me.
      Hopefully for you too..
      Regards,
      Sławek
