WordPress plugins after a crash

By okeyossai, 9 years ago. Last reply by okeyossai, 9 years ago.

Hi,

I had a crash in my wp-admin account earlier today and lost my website. Fortunately, my web hosting guys were able to restore an older backup file. However, I noticed that the WordPress SEO plugin by Yoast is not working properly. Specifically, the Sitemap XMLs previously generated before the crash seem to be corrupt now. Please does anyone have any idea on how to generate new sitemap XMLs in WordPress SEO? I tried uninstalling and re-installing the plugin but no luck.

    I have resolved the issue.
Went to Settings – Permalinks and then clicked Save. The XML sitemaps were restored.
