I want to display 16 products per page. Currently my site is displaying only 8 (4 across and 2 down). It’s not very practical for our site, as some sub categories have around 200 items.
I think I’ve tried every suggestion out there: Settings > Reading: Blog pages show 16 posts; Appearance > Theme Settings: Blog set to Grid; Settings > Permalinks on Common Settings: Post name … none of them work.
I’m using a child theme for Vantage Premium, but I am leary to go into the functions.php and make the suggested changes I’ve seen elsewhere (WP) as the last time I did that (for another issue) I lost the site.
I’m running the latest vers of WooCommerce (2.4.12) and WordPress (4.4).
Any other suggestions?
Thank you!
Hi Weblady16
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

Mmm! That’s strange. If you’d like, please, send us your FTP details using Private Reply and we’ll add a functions.php to your child theme for you and we’ll try to resolve that way.

Mmm, still getting: The user name or password was not accepted by the server. Let me prepare the file for you to upload.
Here we go:
https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/vantage-functions-woo-per-page.zip
Download the ZIP.
Unzip.
Upload the functions.php file to /wp-content/themes/vantage-child
Go to style.css and remove the @import line. I’ve included the import for you in the functions.php file. It’s a faster method.
Thanks for the file. I just did this, but it’s still displaying only 8 items. Do I need to do anything else?
Thanks!

Just checking back…your suggestion didn’t work. The shop pages are still only displaying 8 items, not the 16 or 20 we need.
Thanks!
After lots of testing we’ve discovered an issue with Slimpack. The issue is present with just Slimpack and WooCommerce activated.
Were you using Slimpack Infinite Scroll? We’ve deactivated that module. It seems that’s where the conflict was.
Yay! Thank you! This resolved our issue.
Glad we could assist. All the best.
