I have the Vantage theme, downloaded the Woo Commerce Plug-in, I tried doing a test sale and when I click check out to pay pal, I receive an error saying my cart is empty. I called pay pal and they said that the website or woo commerce was not correctly sending the information to pay pal. so basically… help, please ?
Hi Roberto
Can you try run the same process in another theme like Twenty-Fourteen to try narrow down the problem?
I tried the same process with the twenty-fourteen theme as you said and i still get the same error message from pay pal: Error Detected – Your shopping cart is empty. I feel as if woo commerce is not sending the correct information to pay pal.
Can you perhaps try opening a ticket on the WooCommerce support forum as this is a little out of our area of support.
The website is formfunctiondesignco.com if that helps
Hi Roberto. Right now your Cart page goes to 404 for me, this thread discusses the same issue: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/404-error-for-cart-and-other-woocommerce-pages.
Try going to Settings > Permalinks and hitting Save and see if that resolves.
The issue is not with the cart page, I must have been messing around on the site when you took a look at it, I’m almost positive the website/woo commerce is not sending the proper information to pay pal. I am just not certain on how to proceed seeing that woo commerce does not offer support unless you buy a theme or plug in from them.
Hi Roberto. Ok no worries on the Cart page then. With regards to the PayPal issue, we unfortunately didn’t develop WooCommerce making it harder for us to diagnose these finer issues. They do have a community forum, have you tried posting there? http://www.woothemes.com/support/
