Window resize problem – blog page not very responsive

Hi guys,

I’ve used the featured images function to create a blog home page to my liking. The issue is when resizing the window the text overlays onto the featured image – especially problematic for mobile devices.

Is there an easy code fix to this?

    Hi marksmedia,

    As far as I can tell, this is related to the changes you’ve made to the style.css. There are a few code changes, marked “SAM CHANGED THIS” that are changing that layout. The first thing I’d suggest is using the custom CSS editor (Appearance > Custom CSS) to make these changes so they’re not overwritten when you update your theme. Just add the parts you need to override.

    You’ll need to add some media queries to ensure your new design changes to work on mobile devices.

    I like what you’ve done with that layout though, I’ll look at adding something similar in a future update of Vantage :)
