Hello,

Could you please help me with the following.

I want to expand the width of the home page in boxed mode. I have a background image, which now leaves too much space on both sides.

I look forward hearing from you,

With kind regards,

Floris

    Hi Floris

    Have you perhaps tried adding a total background image instead? That can be done from Appearance > Background Image or from within the Customizer. That would put it behind the content box.

    Thanks for your response Andrew,

    But I dit do it the way you described. But the bottom box is still sticking out on both sides into the backgrond image. I would therefore like to expand the width of the page.

    You can see what I mean on the bottom of this page: http://www.camperplaatsvlissingen.onderhoudsservice-janse.nl/

    Thank you for your great responses.

    Kind regards,

    Floris

    Thanks for the additional feedback here.

    The boxed site width can be expanded by using the following Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Boxed Layout Site Width */

    body.responsive #page-wrapper {
    max-width: 960px !important;
    }

    However this won’t resolve the row that’s sticking out. It’ll continue to stick out. Please won’t you check some of the new Page Builder settings for that row.

    Go to the page.
    Edit the row.
    Under the Layout tab on the right check the Row Layout drop down. Make sure it’s set to Standard and not Full Width or Full Width Stretched.

    Thank you for the css, that worked fine!

    However, under the layout it is set to standard. I still get that overlap though.

    I hope that you can come up with an solution!

    Kind regards,

    Floris
