Hi SiteOrigin,

I’m running into a problem where my widgets that I delete from my page come back/return/reappear after I hit update/publish.

I’ve tried a few times to delete them – if they’re content widgets, I’ve tried removing their content – but they keep sticking on the page and won’t go away.

Example: after the features list on this page is a stray circle icon widget titled Conference. I’ve tried deleting it twice but it shows up after the editor refreshes.

FCP Membership

Example: at the very bottom of this page is a white box under some logos. It’s a SiteOrigin Editor widget that I can’t get to go away.

National Conference

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Dan

This problem sounds like it might be a caching issue. The first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps. Maybe even disable them completely.

It might also be browser cache. Try clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page to see if that helps.

You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex.
