Widgets in header not showing

I’m a premium user, and I see that premium users should use e-mail support, but it looks like there’s a quicker response time here on the forum. Plus, someone else might be able to help or have the same problem & benefit from the answer.

I’m using Vantage Premium, and have placed widgets in my header, but they don’t show up. Also, when I click on appearance/customize/theme design, along with other options it lists sidebar & footer, but not header–not sure if it’s supposed to there or not.

I tried changing the padding in my header under customize/theme design/header to see if that would have an effect on my widgets showing, but it doesn’t even change the header padding as far as I can tell.

Do the header widgets only show with certain settings? I read the header documentation, but it sounded like they should just show without needing specific settings.
