Widget Settings not displaying in PageBuilder

Hey there,

when I found and used the PageBuilder Plugin a few weeks ago, I was impressed by what it can do because its such a versatile tool for creating websites. Props to your team.

As a developer I use to create custom widgets for several themes/websites. Widgets also need settings, like title, checkboxes, relationfields and stuff. To speed up the work I appreciate to use Frameworks for creating custom fields for custom widgets.
As far as I know there are two ways to easily create those fields for widgets:

1. Advanced Custom Fields
2. Carbon Fields Framework

These solutions work perfectly with the native usage of widgets. As soon as I add custom widgets with PageBuilder none of them work. Problem: Custom fields are not showing up.

The Problem with ACF is know to your team for at least 2 years. I read a lot of threads about this problem. Now I am wondering why you are not interested in solving this problem for such a long time. Im really disappointed by that and im not the only user i guess.

Whats your solution for displaying custom widget fields/settings in the PageBuilder?
