Hey guys,
Was wondering if there is a way the widget args can be changed from a theme or child theme.
I’m referring to this code from the siteorigin-panels.php file:
$args = array( 'before_widget' => '<div class="' . esc_attr( implode( ' ', $classes ) ) . '" id="' . $id . '">', 'after_widget' => '</div>', 'before_title' => '<h3 class="widget-title">', 'after_title' => '</h3>', 'widget_id' => 'widget-' . $grid . '-' . $cell . '-' . $panel );
Thanks
Hi Jeanb
It would be possible to filter for this in a child theme. It’s unfortunately outside of my my current coding ability to work this up for you. Greg is super busy working on the 1.6 release for Page Builder. Here is what we plan to do though. We’re shortly going to release a crowd funding campaign to help us push the next few phases of Page Builder out the door. One aspect we hope to crowd fund is the writing of developer documentation, documentation that would cover a point exactly like this.
So for now, unfortunately we’re unable to assist. But keep your eye on our site for news of the campaign and hopefully we’ll see this written up soon.
Thanks for your reply. Looks like the future is looking bright.
All sorts of exciting things in on the way for Page Builder! Thanks for your understanding here.
