Why don’t I see a done or save button on visual or text tab for the page builder for the home page?

It does not seem to save my html changes in visual nor text. I only have the update button. Every time when I clicked on update, it took me back to the pagebuilder tab. None of my html changes got saved.

Did you resolve the edit text save issue from another thread? I did not read the resolution. Thank you for your help in advance!

    Hi Ting

Page Builder content can’t be edited via the Visual/Text tabs, you can only edit Page Builder content via Page Builder. If you need a visual text editor for Page Builder please install this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/ and then insert the Visual Editor widget.

    Hope that helps.

    Andrew,
Thank you very much! When I search for this widget from my wordpress plug-in page, this plugin “Install” button is disabled. Why is that? Thanks!

I’m not sure why the Install Now button would be disabled. You can perhaps try installing the plugin manually by downloading it from the link I sent earlier and then installing from Plugins > Add New: Upload Plugin.

Once Black Studio TinyMCE is installed then go to Page Builder click + to insert a widget and search for the term:

    visual editor

The widget, that belongs to Black Studio called Visual Editor should then appear.

Let me know if that doesn’t answer your question.

    Andrew,
I have resolved the issue. Thank you very much. The following info is for others’ benefit.

I did not know that this widget was already installed. So that solved the installation problem.
I did not use the visual editor, instead I had text on the page builder. That was why it did not allow me to edit the page. Once I switched the text editor to visual editor, everything works as it should. Thanks for the instruction above.

Thanks again, Andrew! Appreciate it very much for your help!
