Want to create a list in category page

Hi I want to create a list in a category page and want to know the code or how to do this. Right now if you hit say Category on side bar Beef, Pork & Lamb it takes me to the page and shows one recipe at a time but I want it to display a list a link list of all the recipes. Is there a way to create this . I have read something about it but want to know if this is possible in vantage.
