wamp and site origin

By kimsofo, 7 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 7 years ago.

I’ve created a website on a local server using Wamp. I want to move it a hosted service and just cant. Could there be something in Site Origin that is blocking me? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kimsofo,

SiteOrigin Page Builder and the WordPress Customizer (and possibly other plugins) rely on serialized data. This is a form of data that can be broken if mishandled. As a result of this, you’ll need to ensure you use a migration plugin that supports serialized data. We recommend Duplicator for this but plugins like All-in-One WP Migration are still more user friendly options, albeit with a few restrictions.

If the migration method you’re using supports serialized data, can you please elaborate on the issues you’re having?
