Visualizer does not function

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but SiteOrigin Visualizer does not function. I am using a new version of the Hestia theme. Thanks for your help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kozmik1,

Preface; To clarify, by Visualizer do you mean the visual/expanded editor?

What happens when you try and open it? Do you receive an error message? After attempting to open the visual editor, could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide (https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/) on how to access your browser console.
Also, Did SiteOrigin CSS previously work without issue for you?

    Hi Alex,

Yes it is the visual/expanded editor.

When I click on it nothin happens. There is no error message. I will send you the contents of my console.

Site Origin CSS worked fine previously. I updated my theme and that's when it stopped. I have since changed themes (Hestia) and it still doesn't function. The plugin works on my other sites.

    Hi Alex,

I tried to use console to see if there were any Javascript errors. I am not familiar enough with the application and it will take me some time to figure it out. What if I turned off all the plugins and then see if Site
    Origin would work?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kozmik1,

I would try that. For reference, here’s the typical plugin conflict test we recommend: try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Thanks Alex.

    I'll give it a try.

    Aloha,
