Visual Editor Preview broken

Page Builder version: 2.2.1

Making changes to a page, just using Visual edit and not Page Builder, clicking on Preview shows old version of page.

I’ve deactivated all plugins except Page Builder and still have the problem.

Using Pinnacle By Kadence Theme.

As a freelancer, this looks bad to my client. Anything else I can do to track the problem down and to resolve it?

    Very strange. Can you run a quick test for me? If you disable Page Builder, do you still get the same issue?

    Disabling Page Builder is how I found that it is that plugin.

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Thanks for your patience. It can take us some time For us to check and diagnose these issues.

    I was able to recreate this issue on my side. It turns out that if you originally created a page using Page Builder, then switched back to using the standard editor, the preview functionality stopped working properly. We’ve fixed this in our development version. It’ll be fixed in the next update (2.2.3).

    As a temporary solution, you can just recreate the page by copy pasting the content from the current My Team page. As long as you don’t start using preview a page while using Page Builder, you won’t get this issue. Once you’ve done this, you can delete the original My Team page and change the slug of the new page.

    Thanks for reporting this to us. It’s always good to get these edge cases fixed.

    We will probably release 2.2.3 in the new year. Releasing an update around this time of year can be a little hectic. If it’s very urgent, you can use the development version – but this isn’t for the faint of heart :)

    After 2.2.3 the issue will be fixed and you won’t need to recreate the page.
