I desperately need some help with this issue. I have no idea why this is happening.
In the editor widget, I am not able to switch to the visual tab.
The visual tool bar appears *beneath* the text tool bar, and the box where my images and text should appear is blank.
I was having the same problem when using Black Studio TinyMCE , when it was in my Site Origin Page Builder Rows. So I think it is a problem with the page builder.
All other plug ins including Black Studio are now DISABLED, and everything is up to date.
Please help me to find a solution to this problem.

Thanks for reaching out.
Navigate to Users, click on your username and ensure the first checkbox is NOT enabled. That’s the one that disables the Visual Editor for your user account.

I made sure that the box that says “Disable the visual editor when writing” is NOT checked.
That doesnt seem to be the issue. Any other ideas?
Next step is to run any updates that might be pending at Dashboard >
Updates.
Next, test with just Page Builder and Black Studio activated.
If the issue persists, switch to a default theme like Twenty Fifteen and retest.
