Various syntax errors

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

My machine crashed in the middle of updating my plug-ins. Now I am getting various syntax errors with SiteOrigin files. So far siteorigin-panels.php and styles-admin.php show errors. My programming knowledge is nearly non-existent, and I have no idea how many total files are affected, but I suspect if I could reload the plug-in it might fix itself. Is there a way I can do that in the FTP? Thank you, Ross

    Hi Ross

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you’re able to access WordPress you could delete Page Builder and then reinstall it from the Plugins page. You could also download the plugin ZIP file from https://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/ and install the ZIP file via PluginsAdd NewUpload Plugin, overwriting the existing Page Builder installation.

If you don’t have WordPress access then you could delete the Page Builder folder at /wp-content/plugins/, the folder name is ‘siteorigin-panels’. That’ll allow you access into WordPress where you could reinstall the plugin from PluginsAdd New.
