Vantage Theme – Site Title disappears, no logo

7 years ago · Last reply by Support Assistants 7 years ago

I am very new to website creation – and have found the Vantage theme in WordPress fairly easy to learn on – with one exception. My site title has disappeared – and I cannot seem to make it appear again. Sometimes it appears when I am in customize/live edit mode – but when I go to the site as another user would it is not there.

I have read all the other posts related to this topic and cannot seem to solve the problem on my own – and tried to play with all the related settings. I do not really care what my masthead looks like – as long as my company name shows up and my menus work. I do not have a logo setup as I understand that may prevent the site title from appearing.

Please help – my site is inhomeavconsulting.com

    Hi Edward

Thanks for posting. In your Custom CSS you’ve added a rule that has set the site title font size to 0. If you remove or change that rule, your title will appear again.

I added to the CSS only in an effort to try and solve the problem – from information I think I found in SiteOrigins forum.

I can try to take the code out that I put in – but the problem was happening before that intervention.

Thanks for your feedback. If the text size is zero, unfortunately, the text won’t display. Looks like you’ve made progress.
