Vantage Theme – Remove featured image from top of individual posts

Hey all,

I run a website with the Vantage theme (premium). Most posts we have nice big pictures to set as featured images and they display very well at the top of each post. However, every now and again we don’t have a nice big picture, but still need a featured image for post lists and for social media to grab hold of. Normally, our editors just grab a logo and set it as featured. These are normally pretty small though and don’t display very well on a post page as they generally get resized to fit the page.

So my questions are:

1) Is there any way of stopping the featured image from being displayed at the top of an individual post?

2) Is there any way of having the featured image displayed at the top of the post, but not resized by the theme?

If you could help me out with this, I’d be very grateful.

Cheers,

Steve

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    1) If you do not wish a post to have a featured image, just do not add an image.
    2) You can set thumbnail sizes by going to Settings> Media .

    Cheers!
