One property Vantage has is the ability to have different size pictures next to each other. For example one can have a landscape orientated picture posted next to a portrait picture. 99.99% themes do not allow this. My question is does this feature have a name? I host a site that uses Vantage under WordPress. I want to put up a site under Joomla (using Hikashop) and from what I see Vantage is NOT available for Joomla. So it would help me if I knew what this feature is called so I can find a Joomla theme.

notice the left two pics are the same size and the right one is different. This is a MAJOR deal and I have spent many many hours trying to find a Joomla theme like Vantage. So it would help if there is a term for this ability.

The term you’re looking for might be known as “soft crop”. Hard crop would crop the image to exact dimensions, soft crop only changes one dimension, allowing the other to proportionally resize.
