Hello,
I am building a site using the Vantage Premium theme and have a few menu items on there so far. If I change the width of the browser window, the menu items wrap to a second line. How would I prevent this from happening. I would like the menu items to stay on the same line and eventually switch to the mobile menu if and when needed. I have also noticed that when the mobile menu is displayed on the browser, it also wraps so it is displayed underneath the logo if the browser window is shrunk far enough. These might be related.
Thanks for your help.
Nick.
Hi Nick,
Are you resizing the browser on your desktop? Responsiveness of a theme does not work by adjusting the width of your browser. It recognizes when the max width of your screen it still a desktop regardless of how small you shrink the browser window. Likewise it recognizes when you are on a mobile and selects the mobile menu to display knowing the device cannot reach a certain width.
Let me know if I am misunderstanding you.
I am resizing the width of the browser on my desktop. If you opened the link I included in your desktop browser and shrunk the width of your browser, the menus would wrap to 2 or 3 lines before they change to the menu icon. This happens to be the same menu icon that is displayed on the mobile platforms, but has nothing to do with the initial issue.
On an iPad, for example, the menu is shown on two lines instead of one. I assume that once the issue is fixed on a desktop, then it would also be fixed on the iPad.
Hi there,
First of all I apologize for the delayed response.
I have just checked your site, resized the browser window and the issue you mentioned does not seem to be there.
Would you mind confirming that you have solved this issue?
