Vantage Theme – Featured image size

Hi there,

Hope you can help.

I’m having an issue with trying to alter the featured image setting within Vantage theme to enable me to retain the proportion of my uploaded featured image. All of my featured images within blog posts will be 720 x 600 but are being cropped to 380 height.

I’ve tried altering this within Settings > Media > Medium Size (have actually changed small and large sizes to be in pro).

Have also gone through the blog settings within customise. I am new to php so would appreciate the help in getting this sorted as nothing yet seems to have worked.

Many thanks

Goardo

    Hi Goardo,

Please install Simple Image Sizes and then navigate to WP AdminSettingsMedia. The image size will be either post-thumbnail or vantage-thumbnail-no-sidebar – try them to get your desired sizing and disable the crop (if desired). Save and then regenerate your images – be sure to clear your browser cache after doing this.

How does that look? If it still doesn’t look right, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
