Vantage Theme capabilities and license

By L Q, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 9 years ago.

Hi,
I m testing vantage theme. I m thinking to go in premium mode.
I want know if in premium mode i can change font of main menu and add icon. In free mode when i add icon, menu shift on 2 rows. I would change font and spacing.
1) is possible in premium mode?
2) If i buy premium code, i can use on more than one site? or i must buy 2 code for 2 sites?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Apologies for the delay here L Q.

    There is no change to the way menu icons are handled in the premium version. We can help out with menu item spacing though. Insert the below into Appearance > Custom CSS (Vantage Premium) or into your own Custom CSS plugin (Vantage Free) and adjust as required:

    /* Menu Padding Horizontal */

    .main-navigation ul li a {
    padding-right: 25px !important;
    padding-left: 25px !important;
    }

    You might also consider this plugin for adding menu icons: https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-icons/. It has several icon libraries and works for links and pages in the menu.

    Our license unfortunately only covers one production website, we do ask that you upgrade once per site.

    Let us know if we can assist further.

    Hi,
    I added a slider demo.
    I used image 1000×400
    when i use fullHD monitor (1920×1080) the maximum heigth of slider don’t increase so when image strech orizontal 100% the image is cropped vertically.
    Is a problem of Meta Slider free or I forgot to set some parameter?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi L Q

    A quick reply to your question from two months ago. Our licence covers a single production website and unlimited testing and or local sites. There is no procedure you need to following when moving a license. Let me know if you need anymore feedback on these points.

    With regards to Meta Slider, you have two options:

    Option One:

    Use our full width stretched option. Under Appearance > Theme Settings > Home you can choose to stretch the slider, there is also an option on each page in the right column Page Slider metabox.

    When using this option it’s best to separate text into a separate image and add that image url in the Meta Slider slide caption field. We cover this method here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/slider/.

    Option Two:

    Turn off the Vantage stretch option and instead in Meta Slider, click the Advanced tab on the right and select 100% width there. That will not constrain the height. Option One will constrain the height.

    Hope that helps.
