Hello.
I have purchased the Vantage theme.
I am trying to get the eventon calendar working with this theme but for the life of me I cannot get it to work.
If I enter the shortcode onto a newly made page, it works, but I cannot use this as a home page and cannot get a slider to work on this page.
If I enter the shortcode on my “home” page. then nothing appears.
I have this on a local install so cannot show you the page.
have you guys had any experience using this plugin with your theme?
if you need me to post any kind of info please tell me what I need to post and ill be happy to do it.

Thanks for opening a fresh thread. Your third paragraph clarifies what I wanted to ask earlier. There is a general challenge with event plugins and our Page Builder plugin. Vantage, as far as I know, doesn’t have any event plugin conflicts, it’s Page Builder where the issue arises. So two quick checks:
1. Did you try the shortcode in the Text widget in Page Builder?
2. Did you try it in the Text tab of the Visual Editor widget?
If it’s not working there then it’s unfortunately up to the plugin developer to get their plugin working with Page Builder. There are a few problems that might coming up. They might be only allowing the shortcode in widgets in regular widget areas or there could be a Javascript issue. As Page Builder grows we’ll hopefully get more plugin developers on board.
From what I’ve seen, most Page Builder users would try make do with their events plugin outside of Page Builder, so use Page Builder but make use of the events plugin outside of Page Builder. The home page is of course a challenge in this regard. Let me know if you’ve tried both the Text and Visual Editor widgets.
