Hi,
I created a new slider using Metaslider and replaced the Vantage Slider in its place. I recently created a new Metaslider and was unable to swap out the preexisting Metaslider. I decided to delete the old one which caused the slider to disappear completely.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Metaslider and it didn’t work.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vantage and it didn’t work.
The only hunch/clue I have is that the theme is still referencing the old Metaslider ID for some reason.

Vantage Slider & Metaslider Not Working

Under Appearance > Theme Settings > Home is the drop down list there reflecting the slider name you saved under Meta Slider?
Yes, I’ve selected the slider that I want.
Ok so some steps to run through:
1. Run any pending updates at Dashboard > Updates.
2. Temporarily de-activate all plugins except for Page Builder and Meta Slider. Then re-check Theme Settings and re-test.
1. No pending updates. – check
2. Deactivated all plugins except Page Builder and Meta Slider – re-checked Theme settings and retested – check
Still no slider.
One last thing to check is, head to Pages and navigate to your home page at that location. In the right column is a Meta Slider drop down menu. Check that and see if you can set a slider from that location. If you still have no luck please send a set of temporary login details to [email protected]. Please include a link back to this thread in your email and send all info in one email (not via the auotmated WP system). Thanks.

Hi Andrew, Few days ago I upgraded Vintage wordPress by SiteOrigin to premium theme and send you $35. At the same time upgrade to 4.1 and came up. The home slider that worked so well before, is not working now. The picture is looking very good on small screen or tablet but when stretched to full screen get distorted and is only half size high.
I did everything possible, deleted few times installed again, went through all points and directions that I could find on theme slider and any place else. Deleted few plugins and no luck. There are other problems like I lost option to use simple tables. Now instead I have site builder that is not working well for what I was using. There was also problem with signing up, my email that You send me confirmation did not work so I sign with my son facebook. I need help, please. [email protected]
By the way I did temporarily changed slider to “do not resize”, but I would not use your site if I know that this is the only option. Site is info.vampgolf.com
