Vantage Premium – Adding Siteorigin Button to Masthead

10 years ago · Last reply by Support Assistants 10 years ago

Hi

I am trying to add a siteorigin button of an external url to the Masthead but failed. The button did not appear on the Masthead even though I can see it under the preview.

Can you help to check to see if I missed out anything?

Many Thanks.

    Hi Shinetown

    Thanks for your question.

There isn’t a header widget area when using the Logo in Menu masthead layout. When using this option you’re removing the header and just using the menu. You could try the following plugin solution: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-in-menu/.

    Hope that helps :)

    Hi

    Thanks for the quick respond.

I have downloaded and installed the plugin. However, the siteorigin button that I have added is still not being shown in the menu.

Is there still something wrong somewhere?

    Menu Widgets Button

    Thanks.

Nearly there. Go to Appearance > Menus, locate the Widgets section in the left column. Insert the widget into your custom menu.
