Hello,
I am running a WP installation using the Vantage theme and Polylang.
It works fine together until the point that I create another menu (for language specific menus).
After I created the menus, when I want to change a setting for the theme (e.g. the “Header Text”) and try to safe it, I get the error “Are you sure you want to do this – please try again” which takes me back to the settings, but it wasn’t changed. It doesn’t happen with standard WP themes.
I would appreciate any help!
I have tried on a fresh installation again and run into the same issue.
Any help?
Hi David
We unfortunately don’t have a solution for this at the moment. It would seem that there are conflicts between Page Builder and both qTranslate and Polylang. WPML seems to function mostly without issues.
Sorry I don’t have more here.
Good afternoon,
I’m using the premium version of Vantage.
Indeed, i have the same experience as David.
Vantage is working perfectly but when polylang is activated, some issues can appear.
I hope you can fix these problems for next updates…
anyhow, thanks for the nice work, wish you lots of success!

Hi Karel

Hi, as I’m having the same problem,
I’ ve written to the Polylang developer’s forum.
here the answer:

I’ve not tried it yet, but he says he has fixed it.
I can report the error as fixed. It was due to the plugins using the same name for the variable. It was fixed by the developer of polylang as explained here:

Thanks for confirming that for us David. Glad to hear it. I thanked the author earlier this week.
All the best.
