Hello,

I need help as I’m trying to create a slideshow with the Vantage plugin.
I would like to know how to display a portrait image which fits into the dimension of the slideshow box I’ve configured.
What I have is the vertical image covering the hole width of the frame with the top and the bottom of the image cropped.
My question is :
How to display an image which height is the height of the slideshow box, and the width proportional to the height so that the image is fully displayed.

I hope i was clear,

Thanks in advance,

ksambo

    Hi Sambo

    This is unfortunately a shortcoming of the built in Origami Slider. We unfortunately don’t have any easy fixes for this challenge. It’s possible to view a page in the Text tab and add:

    type="default"

    To the gallery shortcode before the end of the square brackets. In this way you could leave the Origami gallery on globally but turn it off for select galleries. Alternatively you can use Appearance > Theme Settings > Display you could disable the Origami gallery globally.

    Alternative options might be to use a plugin like Meta Slider: metaslider.com or serve a regular WordPress gallery and then add a plugin like Jetpack Carousel to open images in a lightbox that’s responsive: http://jetpack.me/support/carousel/

    Hi Andrew,

    I’ve tried many plugins but not really fancy with lightboxes.
    I’m going to let that the way it is as I don’t have enough skills to display photos the right way.

    Thank you for your reply,

    Sambo
