Vantage main images change?

I am sure this is easy to resolve, but I am just not getting it.

1. When I customize the page I am getting the 2 scroll image at the top of the page (they contain “Vantage is responive… and the intergrated with these fine…)
FIRST question. How do I modify these images to my own?

Question 2.
If I edit Home page, I get the Word press widgets. I modify these and when I preview I see the modified widgts. If I visit site the wordpress changes are not shown. If I flip the “custom home page” toggle on the I lose the images in question 1. How do I get the wordpress chnages to show with the images?
