Vantage Footer HTML problem

Hi everyone I’m new to the forum. I’m using the Vantage premium theme and I’m having a bit of an issue with the footer. I used this same theme for a client and I was able to put a link in the footer by typing in an html code in the Site Information Text area. Now I’m trying it on another site and it’s not letting me, every time I finish the code and click save settings it reverts to regular text.

Anyone ever have this issue before?

    Hi zeroelement,

    Sorry for the late reply here. Vantage version 2.3 was stripping out HTML from the footer text field. This was a bit of an over-active security enhancement. In the 2.3.1 update, we enhanced Vantage’s data sanitization to allow HTML in this field.

    If you update you should be able to enter HTML there again.
