Vantage 1.4.2 updates breaks Woocommerce Top rated products widget

By t.bordiga, 9 years ago. Last reply by t.bordiga, 9 years ago.

Hi there,
I just updated from Vantage 1.3.4 to Vantage 1.4.2 yesterday and found out that the latest completely breaks the CSS of the Top Rated Products Widget from Woocommerce.
Are there any known workarounds about that ?
Regards,

Tim

    Hi T.bordiga

    Very sorry about the late reply. We work through a prioritized forum queue, and unfortunately it’s taken us some time to get to your thread.

    There should be nothing in the latest version of Vantage that could break the widget. Do you have a public URL where we could view this issue live. If you need to keep this private just select the private reply option below the comment box.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Unfortunatley I am using a Localhost so I can’t give you a live link. I have attached a screenshot of the layout. The layout shown has been adapted with custom css to align the text but this was also broken when I first inserted the plugin. I cannot align the images horizontally only vertically.

    Thanks for the response. http://www.meditating-buddha.com you can see the list is bullet pointed and has no css working on it.
    Kind Regards

    Hi Magus,
    Thanks for the reply ! The thing is, the site is online so I can reproduce the issue in local but not live (don’t want my users to see it). But it is the same problem than Gareth and it appeared when I moved from Vantage 1.3.4 to Vantage 1.4.2.

    I have added this to my custom CSS which lays the product out like I want, but i cannot workout how to align images on the same row. Here is the CSS I am currently using:

    .textwidget p:first-child{
    width:300px;
    }
    .textwidget p:last-child{
    width:300px;
    }
    .widget .product_list_widget li img {
    width: 200px;
    height: 200px;
    margin: 0 auto 20px;
    display: block;
    }

    Hi Guys

    This has just been confirmed as a bug in the latest release of PageBuilder. It is now being investigated and an update to address the issue should follow soon.

    Apologies for the problems caused.

    Is there any news on this?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi T.bordiga

    As a workaround, to restore the original WooCommerce styles to the WooCommerce widgets when used in PageBuilder please expand the Attributes section in the widget editor and add a Widget Class of ‘woocommerce’.

    Let us know how you get on

    Well it didn’t solve my problem but changed it a little.
    The “featured products” now looks like this http://s13.postimg.org/x0iumgm5j/woo_featured_product_screen.png

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi T.bordiga

    That is the correct layout as applied by WooCommerce. It may look odd due to the size of the containing column. The widget was originally designed to be placed in a sidebar. If you need it to look different, let us know what changes you would like and we will try to help.
