Using Fontawesome Icons without a Widget

Is there any way to add the FontAwesome icons included by Page Builder directly in a web page or widget without using an icon widget?

We have copied the icon HTML code directly into a WordPress page, and it is displayed as long as an icon widget is also active on that page, but that is not always practical.

Example:

Is there a better way to add a FontAwesome icon anywhere in the WordPress web page HTML, without using an icon widget? Can the FontAwesome icons be enabled in the page some other way, like adding a tag to the site head code?
