Use Page Builder, but I thought I was…?

10 years ago · Last reply by calu 10 years ago

Hi
I am using the SiteOrigin Hero widget, but the normal menu options for changing the heading level are not there.

Furthermore, on the edit page I have the option to change to Page Builder(!), strange, because I am using page builder…

Pressing the blue button takes me to another edit interface, I am confused?

Regards

Carsten

    Hi Carsten

That blue button is coming from another Page Builder plugin. One common issue we encouter is people trying to use SiteOrigin Page Builder and Beaver Builder together. I’m not sure if this is the case for you.

When it comes to page building plugins. The general rule is that you can only use one :)

Hi Greg, thanks to clarify this, to my knowledge I did not install any other page builder plug in, an not Beaver Builder! But I will go through my plugins once again.
Does the other issue with the missing heading options within your page builder, also is caused by this?

Hi again, I have located the problem to something called ET settings, which embeds in the menu line in the Hero widget and sidebar options (see screen shots). I have gone through my plugins and disabled the mysterious looking ones, but no luck. does anyone know where to locate and disable this alternativ Page Builder editor?
