Upgrade Vantage Free to Premium…

We recently installed the free Vantage Theme in our website customizing it, but some time after that we realized that we would need to upgrade the theme to the premium one.

There’s a lot of work customizing the style (we have not added any php or javascript code). Is there any chance to retain the styles and using theme when we upgrade the theme?

    Hi Joan,

    The upgrade from free to premium works in much the same way as a standard WordPress update. This means the old version is deleted and the new version is reinstalled in its place. So you’ll lose your old customized style.css.

    The stylesheets of Vantage and Vantage Premium are quite similar though, so you could just save a backup of your old stylesheet and repaste it in after you upgrade.
