Upgrade to Influence Plus not working says missing style.css

Received the email to receive the upgrade to Influence Plus. However when upgrading it says: The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
Please help with the problem. Thank you

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The Plus upgrades are all plugins. Please install the Influence Plus ZIP from Plugins > Add New: Upload Plugin. We briefly cover this in the confirmation email.
