Two home pages?

I am new to WP. I have the premium vantage theme and site builder. I also installed Child Theme Configurator and made a “Vantage Child”. I appear to have two different home pages. One under the appearances menu and one in the pages menu. I have no other pages in the pages menu. These pages are totally different. I am totally confused on just what is what.. Also, I do not understand the relationship of the custom home page switch. Is there some documentation on all the functions and how can I get back to a single page that properly shows the changes I make. Also, on a different subject how can I align my images left or right in the widget. When I select the right align button it does nothing.

Thanks,

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi FrearCat

I think it’s possible to have these 2 home pages if you already had a home page set up before you started using Vantage and Page Builder. I’ll try make Page Builder handle this situation better in the future. For now though, you can use either home page, just make sure it’s set in your reading settings. Navigate to Settings > Reading in your WordPress admin and make sure “Front page displays” is set to A Static Page and Front Page is set to the front page you want to use.

To insert a left or right aligned image, you can use the visual editor that comes with Black Studio TinyMCE.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/

This basically gives you a full text editor widget to add to your page builder pages.
