Troubles with text widgets style

By eSM, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 9 years ago.

Hello!
I’ve just started to use your Page Builder and I am very impressed. I designed page layout, added text widgets and filled them with some gadgets (embedded dictionaries). The page looks quite nice, but as a newbie, I have some troubles – I do not know how to:
1. Make the height of all widget boxes in a row the same (I mean, to even their bottom border).
2. Then, centre the content (dictionary gadgets) in the boxes vertically and horizontally.
3. Finally, delete grey background around widget content (gadgets).
Could you please explain how to achieve this?
Best regards!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi ESM

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The theme you’re using is apply blanket widget styling which we need to roll back. If you don’t have a custom CSS plugin installed go to Plugins > Add New and install SiteOrigin CSS. Then go to Appearance > Custom CSS and insert:

    /* Page Builder */

    .panel-grid-cell .widget {
    background: none;
    }

    That’s the easy part.

    There is unfortunately, no easy way to make your columns the same height or two absolute centre the forms within then.

    Hi, I Work Here

    To clarify a little. Simple CSS like text-align: center isn’t able to center the form elements in each cell. So, it would take Custom CSS to absolute center the three forms/widgets we’re looking at here. At the moment there isn’t an automated way to handle that from within Page Builder. We’re always working on the plugin though, so hopefully tasks like this will become easier in the future. For the moment it would take a developer helping out with Custom CSS to achieve this task.

      Hi Andrew!
      I see. Anyhow, many thanks for your explanation. I think I could play a bit with the height and width of my widgets to make them looking as they are more or less centred ;)
      Best,
      Wojtek
