I am now running Vantage (Premium) with a child theme here: https://reinar-svendsen.dk.

I have made a (minor) translation with PoEdit (da_DK).

Q: The “Posted on” and “by” below a post’s title won’t translate. See this example: https://www.reinar-svendsen.dk/sandheden-om-loegne/

Any other translated lines seem just fine.

I believe that the translation files must go into the parent theme’s languages folder and not in the child theme’s – at least I haven’t seen this work with other themes.

    Hi Reinar

Apologies for the hassle, please, try replacing the vantage.pot file in the parent theme with the following:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/vantage.pot

If you redo your translation using the above file, the issue should resolve.

Let us know how it goes.

That helped – many thanks for your attention.
