I would like to add an accordion function to the top bar but when clicking the accordion the top bar depth expands to accommodate the accordion content. Would be grate if the accordion expanded over the main template header.
Hi Frank
Thanks for posting your question.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Hi Andrew
Link for draft site is here
https://elegant-diffie.109-228-35-20.plesk.page/#
You will see I have two options in the header. One is a Button that opens a popup, the other is a SiteOrigin Accordion.
I would like to show custom HTML in the accordion but also as it opens you will see it expands the depth of the top bar. It would be great if it overlapped the header below thus keeping the depth of the top bar unchanged.
I won’t have both option visible in the header, I’m just looking at options here. The accordion would be my preferred to show the availability search.
Thanks.
Thanks for the link and explanation.
Unfortunately, the Accordion doesn’t currently have an overlay option available. It’s possible with Custom CSS, but something we’d need to tackle within our premium support scope where the budget allows it. I took a quick look now, and there are a few follow-up concerns that would need to be dealt with beyond making the content area absolute positioned. I’ve recommended https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-showhide/ in the past but from what I recall, that doesn’t have an option for absolute positioning of the content.
